Praying The
Lord's Prayer

OUR FATHER...

Jesus Just as we read in scripture about the King of kings and the Holy of Holies, The Lord's Prayer is the Prayer of prayers. It was given to us by the greatest teacher and pray-er in human history. And He said, "when you pray, say...". Thus we believe that this is not just a great prayer but the model prayer for every disciple.

This being the case, the Prayer Movement is using the themes of the Lord's Prayer for its daily rhythms for prayer focus. Every promise and prayer in the Bible will fit within one of the 7 themes of the LP so this empowers the Church to pray many scriptures while staying focused in daily agreement together. We have a couple resources on this site to help in this regard. May His Name be hallowed and kingdom come as a result of His Church praying His prayer.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever.
